This now quiet little boy was pulled from the pipeline in the very last minutes of the auction, where he was destined to be turned into meat. With his sister Gretel, the two of them would never have stood a chance. On arrival, he could not have been more wild and electric. We couldn’t get near him for weeks. He came loaded with a very lethal parasite, which nearly killed him. After a year of intense rehabilitation, with medicines and nutrition, he was gelded and now he’s a perfect and loving little horse and a noble protector and sibling to Gretel.
