How this beautiful flower could ever have been deemed an appropriate candidate for slaughter is beyond us. She was four years old when we pulled her, and in remarkable health. The gentlest and sweetest of girls. Kind and fair, she acts as a wonderful substitute mother to many of the orphans. We couldn’t love her more.
